WHY IBPS PO IS THE TOUGHEST EXAM?

When starting to prepare for the IBPS PO exam, without knowing the syllabus, start preparing. They go through every type of question that comes before them. This is one of the most important mistakes that many candidates do. The pattern and syllabus change every year, by going through the syllabus you can avoid covering some less important topics which are of no importance over the years.

Not knowing the previous year's exam papers and cut-offs: 

 When a candidate goes through the previous year's papers, he/she gets a fair idea about the questions asked in the actual exam. Solving previous year's questions always gives an edge to the candidate over the candidates who have not solved any PYP. So go through at least 5-6 previous year question papers. 

Ignorance towards the competition

 Some candidates appearing for the bank examination take it very lightly, which is one of the primary reasons why candidates fail. There are a number of aspirants applying for a post where the vacancies are in the thousands. The success rate is very low due to high competition. The selection depends mainly on the performance and the sectional cut-offs. Keep in mind that you have to give your best in order to secure a position in this exam.

Attempting questions for increasing attempts: 

 They haven't attempted enough questions to cross the cut-off, they answer questions by guessing. There is a negative marking of 0.25 in the IBPS PO exam. If you attempt questions by guessing, your chances of getting selected reduce dramatically. Do not guess the answers until you are absolutely sure.

Not able to deal with exam anxiety

 IBPS PO exam has sectional timing, so when candidates start solving questions in the actual exam, the pressure of solving all the questions within the limited time limit adds to their anxiety. This exam hall anxiety can lead you to give wrong answers. Exam anxiety is most common among first-time aspirants. To avoid this worry, try to practice mock tests as much as possible. Solving mock tests helps you to maintain your confidence while attempting the questions in the real exam.

Make Time Table

Many students apply for any exam but then do not study systematically. For the systematic study, you need a proper timetable. So, first of all, prepare a timetable covering all the topics asked in the exam.

Read good books 

: There are plenty of books available in the market, but reading all of them will be of no use. Refer to the standard books only. If you have notes from your coaching institute then refer to them for your preparation. Practice is the key: One thing that sets toppers apart is the habit of Practicing as much as they can. For this exam, Practice is the key, you have to practice a lot of questions before appearing in the actual exam.
