When to start coaching for BTech admissions?

Consider starting your preparations in class 11. This allows you to build a strong foundation in the subjects and concepts that are crucial for engineering entrance exams.

Class 11:

Research and identify the entrance exams you want to appear for, such as JEE Main, JEE Advanced, BITSAT, or state-level engineering exams. Different exams may have different syllabi and patterns.

Identify Entrance Exams:

Intensify your preparation in class 12, as this is the year when most engineering entrance exams are conducted.

Class 12 Preparation:

If you decide to join coaching classes, it's common for students to start in class 11 or early in class 12. Coaching can provide structured guidance, access to experienced faculty, and a competitive environment.

Coaching Classes:

If you join coaching, make sure it doesn't negatively impact your performance in school. Balance is key, and it's essential to keep up with your school curriculum.

Balancing School and Coaching:

Regardless of coaching, regular self-study is crucial. Devote time to solving problems, understanding concepts deeply, and revising regularly.

Regular Self-Study:

Start taking mock tests well in advance of the actual exams. This helps you understand the exam pattern, manage time effectively, and identify areas that need improvement.

Mock Tests:

Be flexible in your preparation plan. If you feel the need to adjust your strategy based on your performance in mock tests or changing circumstances, don't hesitate to do so.
