The students got to register themselves on the official website of the consortium of NLUs to participate in the counseling process. The counseling process consists of the subsequent steps.
The conducting authority will release a special merit list for every National Law University as per the ranks and merit of the scholars. The candidates can check the stop of every NLU and participate accordingly.
The candidates who have had their names on the primary list need to confirm their seats by making a fee payment of INR 50,000 within the required period. Once this step is completed
The aspirants can lock the seats which are allotted to them. Once the seat is locked, the candidate won’t be considered in the other lists, which seats will be frozen for the candidate.
If the aspirant isn’t satisfied with the allotment of seats, they may request an upward shifting. If there are vacant seats for the candidate, an upgrade within the seat will be made on the following list.
After the preliminary list, the conducting authority will release the following list for the second round of the allocation process. Alongside this, another list will be released where the waitlisted candidates are going to be named.
A final list of seat allotment is going to be published with the waitlisted individuals from the previous round. Therefore the list of waitlisted individuals for the next round is going to be released separately.
Once the seat allotment process is completed, the candidates need to report back to their respective NLU’s for other procedures like Document Verification and Fee Deposition. The candidates who fail to dodo so won’t be confirmed for the ultimate admission, and no refund will be made to them.
