What is the Dental Admission Test (DAT)? 

The Dental Admission Test (DAT) is a standardized test used in the United States and Canada as part of the dental school admissions process. 

It is administered by the American Dental Association (ADA) and is designed to assess the academic and scientific knowledge of applicants to dental schools. 

The DAT is a computer-based test that consists of multiple-choice questions and is divided into four main sections. 

Survey of Natural Sciences:  This section evaluates your knowledge of biology, general chemistry, and organic chemistry. It consists of 100 multiple-choice questions. 

Perceptual Ability Test:  This section assesses your spatial reasoning and visual perception skills. 

Reading Comprehension:  This section tests your ability to understand and analyze written passages. You'll be asked questions based on dental and scientific topics. 

Quantitative Reasoning:  This section assesses your mathematical skills and problem-solving abilities. It includes questions on algebra and numerical calculations.
