Top Inventions and Projects of Missile Man of India 

Dr. Kalam played a pivotal role in leading India's IGMDP, which aimed at developing five major missile systems: Agni, Prithvi, Akash, Trishul, and Nag. 

Dr. Kalam played a significant role as the Chief Project Coordinator for the Pokhran-II nuclear tests in 1998. 

Ballistic Missile Interceptor:  Dr. Kalam was involved in the development of ballistic missile interceptor systems.  

SLV-III and PSLV:  Dr. Kalam played a key role in the development of India's Satellite Launch Vehicle (SLV-III) and Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle (PSLV). 

Lightweight Caliper:  Dr. Kalam invented a low-cost, lightweight caliper for orthopedic patients. 

Kalam-Raju Stent:  Dr. Kalam worked on the development of the Kalam-Raju Stent, a specialized medical device used in angioplasty procedures. 

Co-authored books:  In addition to his scientific contributions, Dr. Kalam authored several inspirational books, including "Wings of Fire," "Ignited Minds," and "India 2020."
