Top 10 Qualities JEE Aspirants Should Have

Get started beforehand - Starting your preparation beforehand is the key. Starting early with plenty of time in your hand will let you achieve great results. Preparing ahead of time is beneficial for a good score in the final exam. Remember, Toppers don’t do things in the 11th Hour!

Never underestimate Self-discipline -  Always ensure you are self-disciplined. Be smart and mature enough to know your good and bad. Plan your timetable and stick to it.

Make it a habit to Evaluate -  Focusing on preparation is a must but evaluating your performance is more than important. Without a proper self-evaluation, you won’t be able to get to know your weak and strong areas.

Time Management is the key - Always test your preparation under time pressure. Even if you are fully prepared but are not able to complete the exam in the given time, you might lose the expected score. Plan your preparation accordingly. Make some time for Mock-tests as well.

Daily revision should be a habit - Daily revision is one of the best ways to stay updated with what you’ve already studied. The simplest trick is to revise what you studied yesterday before starting with today’s preparation.

Take the help of online mock tests -  Try and solve at least 2 mock papers or previous year questions papers a day. This habit will improve your speed and accuracy.

Test your preparation –  Rightly said! Simply studying is of no use. You should test your preparation regularly to stay up to date with the concepts and topics you study. Remember, nobody is born topper, it is only through constant practice and revision you achieve that crucial position.

Solve mock test and papers – You should solve 3-4 mock papers or previous year questions papers each day. Solving papers improves your problem solving speed and accuracy.

Regular revision –  Revision does not mean last minute preparation, and it will never mean that way ever. Revision should go hand in hand with your preparation schedule. Students tend to forget the concepts because they don’t use it in everyday life. One of the best ways to keep them fresh in your mind, according to toppers is regular revision.

Proper Planning –  It is rightly said that if you are failing to plan, you are planning to fail. Always plan your day in advance, you should know one day before which topic or subject you are going to study tomorrow. Also, at the end of the day solve mock test to get through with the topic you have studied.
