Mount Everest

Located in the Himalayas on the border between Nepal and Tibet, Mount Everest is the tallest mountain in the world, standing at 8,848 meters (29,029 feet) tall. 

K2

Also known as Mount Godwin-Austen, K2 is the second-tallest mountain in the world, standing at 8,611 meters (28,251 feet) tall. It is located on the border between China and Pakistan. 

Kangchenjunga

Located on the border between Nepal and India, Kangchenjunga is the third-tallest mountain in the world, standing at 8,586 meters (28,169 feet) tall. 

Lhotse

Also located in the Himalayas on the border between Nepal and Tibet, Lhotse is the fourth-tallest mountain in the world, standing at 8,516 meters (27,940 feet) tall. 

Dhaulagiri

Located in Nepal, Dhaulagiri is the seventh-tallest mountain in the world, standing at 8,167 meters (26,795 feet) tall. 

Makalu

Located in the Himalayas on the border between Nepal and Tibet, Makalu is the fifth-tallest mountain in the world, standing at 8,485 meters (27,838 feet) tall. 

Cho Oyu

Located on the border between Nepal and Tibet, Cho Oyu is the sixth-tallest mountain in the world, standing at 8,188 meters (26,864 feet) tall. 

Manaslu

Also located in Nepal, Manaslu is the eighth-tallest mountain in the world, standing at 8,163 meters (26,781 feet) tall. 

Nanga Parbat

Located in Pakistan, Nanga Parbat is the ninth-tallest mountain in the world, standing at 8,126 meters (26,660 feet) tall. 

Annapurna

Located in Nepal, Annapurna is the tenth-tallest mountain in the world, standing at 8,091 meters (26,545 feet) tall.
