Prioritize your question - Before attempting the question paper, you must carefully read all the questions given and mark the ones which you are more confident to answer. You should start answering the questions to which you know the answers correctly.
Use of the additional 15 minutes judiciously - CBSE provides its students with an additional 15 minutes time for the board examinations. So, students must utilise these 15 minutes very carefully to make a strategy for writing their exam smoothly and correctly.
Write to-the-point answers - You must write precise, relevant, and well-to-the-point answers as per the word limits described in the instructions. Writing unnecessary long answers just to fill the answer sheet will only result in a waste of your valuable time and you might not be able to complete your paper on time.
Choose questions wisely - When it comes to you to choose the questions you want to attempt, give a careful reading to each question at least twice and then create a mental picture of what you have to write in each case.
Easy first and tough last – Always solve easy questions or questions you know first. Do not try to solve exam paper in sequence. Attempting easy question first will boost your confidence. Complete what you know first and try out tough question in last.
Don’t decorate the answer sheet - Use only two pens; a blue pen for writing the text and a black for headings. While drawing diagrams, you must always use a pencil. It would keep your answer sheet simple and would also give you time to write more.
Read Question carefully – Many times students do errors by reading question wrongly. Always read question 3 to 4 times and understand what is been asked in it. Reading question in hurry can lead to write a wrong answer and loosing marks.
Space out each word properly - Make sure your words are properly spaced out. Don’t squeeze in ten words in the same line. Examiners will find it difficult to read such overlapped words. This may cause a fall in your grades. Your paper should look neat and clean.
Try to avoid cutting or over writing – In exam, a student don’t have time to write answer in a beautiful well designed manner. But, they can try to avoid cutting and over writing in answers. Before writing answer give few seconds to frame an answer and then start writing. This will help you avoid cutting and over writing in answers.
Recheck the answer sheet – After completing the exam paper, always recheck the answer sheet. Rechecking will make you know what you have written and help you find out errors you have done.
