Understand the complete syllabus -  First of all, you have to read and understand the complete syllabus thoroughly. This will give you an idea of which topic you have to focus on more.

Time Management -  When you understand the syllabus well, you can decide how much time to give to which subject.

Prepare according to the pattern -  100 questions are asked in the prelims exam for which you get only 60 minutes. In this time, the ability to solve all the questions has to be built.

Pay special attention to the Numerical Ability section -  35 questions are asked from this section. For which you have only 20 minutes. You have to practice more and more to build command over this topic.

Choosing the right study material -  Choose the right study material. For example, for the Numerical Ability section, read from NCERT books. With this, your basic topics will be prepared very well.

Practice -  If you want to prepare better then practice as much as possible. Especially in the Numerical Ability and Reasoning section.

Solve old papers -  The best way to practice is to solve old papers. You have to collect the last few years' papers and practice them regularly.

Make notes by yourself -  By making notes, you will get the details of the things you read daily in one place. Along with this, you will also be able to assess your subject-wise weaknesses and preparation.
