Morning Habits for a Healthy Mind

MEDITATE

Even 10 minutes of meditating daily can help you reduce anxiety, improve creative thinking and beat depression.

WRITE

You don’t need to be a writer in order to feel the magical benefits writing has on your brain. It boosts creative energy and improves concentration, but it is also an activity that stimulates the brain and preserves memory in the long-run.

DRINK A GLASS OF WATER

Something quick and easy you can do that will rehydrate your body after hours of sleep and will fuel your brain is to drink a glass of water.

ORGANIZE YOUR DAY

Save some time later in the day by writing down anything you need to do. Then, prioritize by putting some items on top of the list.

GET MOVING

Adding some exercise to the first hour of your day jumpstarts not just your immune system but also your brain.

Do something fun or creative.

Making time for something fun and silly helps me conceptualize the morning as its own unique segment of my day rather than just a prelude to work.
