JEE Main 2022 Negative Marking Scheme and Exam Pattern 

Candidates who closely observe and follow the JEE Main exam pattern  will ultimately perform well.

National Testing Agency has been granted the authority to design and develop the JEE Main syllabus as well as set the exam pattern.

JEE Main mainly consists of three papers mainly and will be conducted in two shifts i.e. morning and evening.  

In paper I each Subject will contain two sections. Section A will be of MCQ and Section B will contain Questions whose answers are to be filled in as a numerical value.

In Section B, candidates have to attempt any five questions out of 10. There will be negative marking for Section B as well. 

You will get 4 marks for the correct answer. There will be negative marking in both sections, 1 mark will be deducted for every wrong answer.

NTA will only announce the percentile scores based on which admissions will be granted in colleges across India.
