This section focuses on vocabulary, synonyms, antonyms, grammar, error-detection, cloze test, para-jumbles, idioms, phrases, reading comprehension, fill-in-the-blanks, sentence reconstruction, etc. 

Quantitative Aptitude 

This is the toughest section of the Prelims Paper and includes Ratio and Proportion, Speed and Distance, Average, Time and Work, Data Interpretation, Number Series, Simplification, and Quadratic Equation. The best strategy is to by heart all the basic theories and formulas, and practice as much as possible. 

Reasoning Ability 

This is the most logical section of the paper and is easier to score. However, the candidates need to be very analytical in this section. A revision after every practice solution is a must to ace this. 

General/Financial Awareness 

This section does not require any strategy or trick and is one of the easiest to score marks. It is important to emphasize the banking and insurance-related information and abbreviations while preparing this topic. 

Computer Aptitude 

This section is easier in comparison and includes the knowledge of Computer Hardware and Software. Learning all the computer shortcuts and abbreviations is a smart strategy for this section. 

Regular Revision 

Reading and completing a subject is not enough. You need to revise regularly. This is very important for each section of the paper. Preparing notes and referring to them regularly can help. 

Keep Consistency 

Make a consistent plan of study. Even if you are taking a break, say you couldn’t study for two days, make sure that the break doesn’t extend to four days. You must be consistent; else, it takes time to get in the flow again. 

Identify the More Important Topics 

Though every topic is important in exams, there are certain topics whose weightage in exams is more than that of others. Identify those topics and practice more questions to score well.
