How to Deal with Failure in Exams?

Analyze the reasons behind failure -  Instead of getting depressed and grieving the failure, the most important thing is to look at your failure with an analytical view so as to determine the reasons behind it.

Talk to someone -  If you're feeling academically crippled by this fear of failure, it can help to discuss it with a trusted friend or family member. It is likely that some of your student friends are experiencing similar feelings and it can help to off-load each other.

Be positive for your next attempt -  Do not just keep thinking about the failure instead thinks about it. Bring in the positivity inside you that can help you move ahead with a wide view to success.

Change your approach -  This is the next important thing to do after experiencing a bad result day. Tell yourself that next time, you'll be prepared effectively and would not let this happen again.

Practice self-compassion –  Try acknowledging the feeling of fear rather than distracting yourself. Accepting and being mindful of this feeling can help the situation feel more manageable.

Follow a different strategy for the next exam -  When you fail an exam, you cannot understand that you lacked clarity in the concept that you lost your marks in a paper. Just, don't take tension instead, take the syllabus for the subject/exam in which you have failed and start your preparation subject-wise.

Get Organized -  Identify any easily removed obstacles that stand in the way of starting your essay or project. Maybe you need to clear out your desk and/or organize your revision notes.

Give your best -  Instead of being depressed or worried about the exam, be prepared and confident to appear for the exam and wait for the result to reflect your hard work and dedication.
