To become an Indian scientist at NASA, you will have to become a permanent resident of the U.S and for that, there are certain requirements and procedures that you will have to follow to get your U.S citizenship.
You can opt for the process of Naturalization to seek permanent residence in any of the states of the U.S. For this, you either have to:– Be a permanent resident in the U.S for a minimum of 5 years, or– Be a permanent resident in the U.S for a minimum of 3 years if you are married to a U.S citizen.
If you are at least 18 years old and meet the above requirements, then you can fill out Form N-400 and complete all further formalities as per the U.S government policies.
