How to become a government teacher 

Qualifications needed to become a Teacher in India -  

Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) -  A B.Ed degree is an essential requirement for an individual who wishes to become a teacher in India.

Diploma in Education (D.Ed.) -  D.Ed is a two-year diploma course that can be pursued by those who wish to become teachers. it is still recognized by most schools in India.

Physical Education Program (C.P.Ed.) -  C.P.Ed is a two-year course designed for those who wish to teach physical education in schools.

Bachelor of Physical Education (B.P.Ed.) -  B.P.Ed is a three-year degree course designed for those who wish to teach physical education in schools.

Entrance Exams to become a teacher -

Central Teacher Eligibility Test  –  The CTET is conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) every year. It is a mandatory exam for those who wish to become teachers in schools that are affiliated with the CBSE.

National Eligibility Test –  NET is conducted by the University Grants Commission (UGC). It is mandatory for those who wish to teach at the collegiate level.

CSIR UGC NET –  CSIR UGC NET is conducted by the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR). It is mandatory for those who wish to teach at the collegiate level.

Teacher Eligibility Test –  TET is conducted by both state and central governments in order to recruit teachers for government schools. It is mandatory for those who wish to become teachers.
