How Much Percentile Is Good in JEE Mains 2022?

This year will be conducted for two sessions -  National Testing Agency (NTA) conducts JEE Mains exam on multiple dates. This year it is being organized for two sessions.

Question paper will be different for each session -  The question paper will be different for each session. Therefore, the level of difficulty will vary. After the declaration of the result, students can calculate their percentile score.

Good Percentile for JEE Mains -

The minimum cut-off to appear in JEE Advanced was 90.3765335 percentile for the General Category.

A good score for JEE Mains is considered to be between or higher than the 230-250 marks (estimated range).

In terms of rank, the student should get approx 15,000-20,000 ranks in order to secure seats at various IITs.

Good JEE Main Score/ Percentile to be Eligible for JEE Advanced -  To qualify for JEE Advanced, you need to score anywhere above or equal to the 90th percentile range.

Good JEE Main Score/ Rank to Secure Admission in NITs - When it comes to NITs, A good percentile for those wanting to get into NITs and IIITs is 80+.

Good JEE Main Score/ Rank to Secure Admission in IIITs - The requirements for getting into IIITs are slightly lower when compared to NITs. The percentile requirements come down to 70-80 percentile.

Good Percentile B.Tech Colleges -  Many B.Tech colleges offer admission if you have above 80 percentile in JEE Main exam (apart from IITs, NITs, or IIITs).
