Sectional change
The verbal section, which previously contained two sections (Reading and Writing & Language), has now been condensed into one section (Reading and Writing). Passages will be short and they will consist of only one discrete question which is linked with one passage or a passage pair.

The new digital SAT will be shorter than the previous SAT. The total time duration of the digital SAT will be 2 hours and 14 minutes.
Multistage Adaptive Testing
The new Digital SAT will consist of two modules:
– Module 1: mix question of easy, medium, and hard questions,
– Module 2: Targeted mix of questions with varying difficulty on the basis of performance in Module 1
