Cbse class 12 board exams: Silliest Mistakes Made by Commerce Students

Writing Too Much In 1 Mark Questions: 

 These questions are supposed to be answered in one short sentence  and you should not spend more than one or two minutes on each question.  

Showing The Workings For Each Question:  

Workings are necessary for difficult and complex questions because they carry marks for them. But they are not necessary for short  answer questions.  

Improper Format: 

Formatting is a necessity for ledger and journal questions, meanwhile adequate narration is also mandatory for every journal entry. 

Not Drawing Diagrams/Flowcharts:  

Students should draw proper flowcharts and diagrams where they are necessary even when the question does not ask for it.  

Writing Long Paragraphs :

Until and unless it’s not a one or two marks question, don’t write in paragraphs. Each answer should be neatly written in pointers with a heading and an explanation. 

Not Underlining & Highlighting Details: 

Students forget to highlight or underline important terms and phrases. It looks like an extra task it makes your answers appear more detailed .
