Avoid These 10 Mistakes When Preparing for NEET 2023 

Not paying attention to the class XI syllabus -  If you have just started preparing for Medical entrance exams, it’s a good time for you to start building the foundation of your preparation with the Class XI syllabus.

Not Making Notes -  Most students make the mistake of not making notes while studying. Making notes will help you at revising the topic or the syllabus. The most important advantage of making notes is, that notes help in recalling the information gathered and prevent forgetting the important points.

Not taking enough tests -  Even though everyone has access to free sample papers and question papers, students avoid taking mock tests out of sheer laziness. Mock tests help you understand the importance of time management, the kind of questions, and your weak areas and also help in boosting your confidence. 

Following Multiple Books -  If you are preparing for the NEET Exam don’t follow too many books, go with NCERT, the study material provided by your coaching, and a few other books as instructed by your teachers.

Analyzing Test Papers -  Appearing in the test paper is a must, similarly analyzing the test paper is also important. Test analysis will help in improving your performance and helps in making your weak areas strong.

Not Studying All Subjects -  Another big mistake that students do is not studying all the subjects (physics, chemistry, and biology) on regular basis. Make a timetable and allot equal time to all three subjects.

Disturbing your sleeping pattern - You must try to get your sleep pattern back to normal a few days before the exam. Having a sleepless night just before your exam can hamper your concentration during the exam.

Competition with friends and thrive for rank -  Don’t spend your precious time comparing yourself with your friends and others, utilize this time in improving your performance. Comparing yourself will make things difficult for you and it will distract your mind.

Discussing the syllabus just before the paper -  Discussing questions with your friends just before the paper will shake your confidence, confuse you and you will end up panicking. Avoid doing this and have faith in your preparation.
