PayPal is currently seeking an experienced GFCCP Technology Analyst to join their team in Bangalore. In this role, you will play a crucial part in overseeing the management of the GFC & CP vendor and technology budget, as well as the vendor portfolio. Your responsibilities will include utilizing both internal and external data to ensure precise reporting, billing, and accrual, generating forecasts and providing insights for business cases, and engaging with vendors and enterprise support functions to guarantee supplier qualification, registration, and adherence to regulations.
Job Description
The following are the main tasks and responsibilities for the position:
- Assist in the formulation of strategic plans, annual financial budgets, and monthly forecasts.
- Gain a deep understanding of business strategic priorities, anticipate their impact on vendor requirements, and identify opportunities for optimizing return on investment (ROI).
- Identify trends and drive improvements in processes to enhance planning and reporting functions.
- Create reports and collaborate with business operations and finance teams to facilitate analysis of variances between actuals and forecasts on a monthly basis.
- Aid in the development of business cases and establish processes for tracking and reporting the funding and oversight of new initiatives.
- Coordinate the creation, initiation, and maintenance of purchase orders for vendor services.
- Monitor invoicing and settlement processes to support Finance operations and maintain positive relationships with vendors.
Qualifications for this Job
The following are the requirements and qualifications for the position:
- Demonstrated expertise in accounting, financial services, technology consulting, cryptocurrency, compliance, operational risk management (including audit, legal, credit risk, market risk), or a combination of these fields.
- Possession of a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or an equivalent amount of industry experience.
- Proficiency in working with MS Office, including advanced skills in Excel, Visio, and Powerpoint.
- Comfort and familiarity with data analysis, as well as tools such as SQL, Python, and other similar software, are preferred.
