2. Nationality

An applicant must be either-

  • Indian citizen or
  • A subject of Bhutan, or
  • A subject of Nepal, or
  • A Tibetan refugee who arrived in India before January 1, 1962, intending to stay permanently in India.

OR

  • A person of Indian origin (PIO) who has moved to India from Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Burma, or East African nations such as Zaire, Uganda, Zambia, Kenya, the United Republic of Tanzania, Malawi, Ethiopia, or Vietnam intending to stay permanently.
  • Candidates from the aforementioned countries must present a certificate issued by the Government of India confirming their residency in India.

3. Educational Qualification
