UPSC CISF Eligibility 2021: CISF Assistant Commandant

The candidates who are applying for the post of Assistant Commandant in CISF must make sure that they meet the Union Public Service Commission or UPSC CISF eligibility criteria which are set by the board and mentioned in the Official Notification. The same has been tabulated in the table below. 

Nationality

The candidate who is applying must have citizenship in India. One who has the consent of the Central Government in writing can appear for the exam. If not found so then they will be debarred from the enrolment, appointment, and employment.

Age

The candidate must be above the age of 20 years and not more than 25 years of age to appear in this examination. This shall be considered as of 1st August 2019. 

Sex

 Only eligible candidates can apply. Both males and females can apply for the CAPF Exam.

Educational Qualification

The candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university to be eligible for this exam. 

UPSC CISF Eligibility Criteria: CISF AC (EXE)LDCE

The candidates must meet the UPSC CISF eligibility criteria before filling the online application form for this post. This has been given below. 

  • Candidates must be a citizen of India.
  • They should have a bachelor’s degree from a recognized University.
  • They must have completed 4 years of service. This service should be at the rank of Sub Inspector(GD) / Inspector (GD). This should also include the basic period of training and the candidate must have a clean record of services. This should be till the issue of the offer of appointment.
  • The candidate should not be more than 35 years of age. This should be as of 1st August 2019. The upper age limit has been relaxed up to a maximum of 5 years. This is for SC / ST candidates.

Physical Criteria

Physical criteria must also be fulfilled by the CISF AC & AC(EXE) LDCE candidates:

General standards include no stammering, no signs of chronic disease such as tuberculosis, any sort of arthritis, high blood pressure, Diabetes, Bronchial Asthma, or any cardiac condition, and no detectable and obvious glandular swelling anywhere on the body.
