CISF Eligibility Criteria 2021

The candidates who are applying for the post of Assistant Commandant in CISF must make sure that they meet the CISF Eligibility criteria which are set by the board. Only the eligible candidates can apply for the entrance exam.

Nationality

The candidate who is applying must have citizenship in India. One who has the consent of the Central Government in writing can appear for the exam. If not found so then they will be debarred from the enrolment, appointment, and employment.

Age

The candidate must be above the age of 20 years and not more than 25 years of age to appear in this examination. This shall be considered as of 1st August 2019. 

Sex

Both males and females can apply for the CAPF Exam.

Educational Qualification

The candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university to be eligible for this exam.

How To Apply UPSC CISF Assistant Commandant? 

The candidates can apply for UPSC CISF Assistant Commandant by following these steps:

  • Go to the official website of UPSC, i.e. www.upsconline.nic.in.
  • The instructions for the online application are also given on the official website.
  • The link for the online application will be disabled once the date ends. 
  • Another requirement is that the candidates have to send a hard copy of the application which is submitted online. This should be done with a proper channel to the CISF authorities. 
  • The address of the authorities is Director General, Central Industrial Security Force, 13, CGO Complex, Lodi Road, New Delhi 110003. This is done for further verification and onward transmission to the Commission.
  • The Central Industrial Security Force surveys these applications. This is done for deciding the candidates’ eligibility and concerning the eligibility conditions stipulated. The decision of the Commission stands final to the admission to the examination hall.
  • A fee is required to be paid by the candidates. Certain categories are exempted from the payment which is SC/ ST/ Female/ PH Candidates.
  • This payment can be made by using the net banking facility or by the use of Visa/Master/RuPay Credit/Debit Card. The bank should be the State Bank of India.
  • No request for withdrawal of the fee will be accepted once it is paid.
