South Indian Bank Notification 2021: South Indian Bank Limited (SIB) is a major private sector bank based in Thrissur in Kerala, India. South Indian Bank has 850 branches, 4 service branches, 48 ext. accountants and 20 regional offices spread across more than 27 states and 3 union territories in India.
SIB was registered as a limited liability company under the Companies Act of 1913 and began operations on January 29, 1929, in Round South, Thrissur. SIB was the first programmed private sector bank in Kerala to be licensed under section 22 of the RBI Banking Regulation Act 1949 on 17-06-1957.
