SNAP Exam Guide 2021: Eligibility Criteria for SNAP Exam

Before applying for SNAP 2021, you should know about the SNAP Eligibility Criteria. Make sure that you have met all criteria before the online application.

  • You should be a graduation degree from a recognized/statutory University or colleges with a minimum qualifying degree of 50% or equivalent grade. If you are from SC/ST category, then you must have a minimum of 45% marks or equivalent grade.
  • If you are a final-year graduate student then you can also apply for the exam. But your admission will be provisional. If you do not fulfill the above criteria, your admission will be canceled.
  • You have to meet the eligibility criteria of your desired program, as set by the institute.
  • There is no age limit to appear for SNAP.
  • Foreign Nationals/NRI/PIO/OCI candidates can also apply.

SNAP Application Form 2021

The application form is fully online. You should follow the steps as under to apply for the exam:

  • 1st Step: You have to visit the official website – https://www.snaptest.org/.
  • 2nd Step: You should click on “Apply Now.”
  • 3rd Step: You will see that a new page is opened. You have to click on the “Register” button under ‘New User? Register Here’.
  • 4th Step: You should read the instructions carefully and then check the box against the statement saying that you agree to the terms and conditions.
  • 5th Step: Now you should click on the “I Agree.”
  • 6th Step: Here, you have to enter your Name, Date of Birth, Mobile Number, Email ID, and Category.
  • 7th Step: In this step, you have to select your test city preferences. You can choose up to three cities.
  • 8th Step: You should upload a current passport size photo of yourself (not older than three months). The photograph should be between 5 KB to 5 MB.
  • 9th Step: you have to click on “Save & Continue.”
  • 10th Step: You should verify the details and click on “OK.”
  • 11th Step: You will see a new page will open asking you to submit an OTP. The OTP will be sent to the registered mobile number. You have to enter the OTP in the required field and click on “Submit.”
  • 12th Step: You will see a page displaying your SNAP ID, and an Email ID will open. Note the SNAP ID. Then you have to click on “Click Here to Make Payment.” You can also opt to make the payment later.
  • 13th Step: Now, you have to select your mode of payment and pay the SNAP application fee.

SNAP Exam Guide 2021: Exam Pattern

You should note that the SNAP Exam pattern changes frequently. This year’s SNAP exam contains objective-type questions. These are

  • 105 Normal Questions (MCQs with four options),
  • 5 Special Questions (which will have blanks to be filled using a virtual keyboard).
  • Time duration: The exam duration of SNAP Exam is 60 minutes. 

Even if you do not engage yourself in classroom studying, earmarking one SNAP mock per day followed by 5-8 hours of SWOT analysis would help you achieve more than 95% in the actual SNAP exam.
