SBI PO Entrance exam 2021 will be conducted by the State Bank of India for recruiting the candidates interested in the post of Probationary Officers, PO. Exclusive SBI PO Eligibility Criteria 2021

To be eligible for the SBI PO Entrance Exam, the candidates have to fulfill all these criteria.

For SBI PO Exam, age limit and educational qualification are important criteria and have to be fulfilled by every candidate.

• Age limit

1. Minimum age for applying – 21 years.
2. Maximum age for applying – 30 years.

Ex-Servicemen, Commissioned Officers which includes Emergency Commissioned Officers (ECOs)/ Short Service Commissioned Officers (SSCOs) who have rendered 5 years of military service and have been released on completion of assignment (including those whose assignment is due to be completed within 6 months from the last date of receipt of application) otherwise than by way of dismissal or discharge on account of misconduct or inefficiency or physical disability attributable to military service or invalided	5 years
People domiciled originally from the state of J&K, during the period 1-1-1980 t0 31-12-1989	5 years

 

• Educational qualification

1. The candidate must have complete their graduation in any discipline from a recognized university. Or an equivalent degree recognized by the Central Government.
2. Candidates in their college final year can apply provisionally. They have to fulfil one condition before the interview, i.e., they must carry proof of being graduated on or before 01-07-2021.
3. Candidates having Integrated Dual Degree (IDD) Certificate must have the passing date on the certificate on or before 31-08-2021.
4. Candidates with CA Certification can also apply for the recruitment exam.

• Important points

1. Biometric verification: To verify the genuineness of the candidate, the bank may digitally capture the thumb impression of the candidate. For a smooth procedure, candidates are advised not to apply anything on the thumb like Mehendi, ink, chemical, etc.
2. The number of attempts: For different categories, the number of attempts is different. The attempts per category are mentioned below:

SBI PO Eligibility Criteria – PWD Candidates

There are a certain set of conditions laid by the SBI for the PWD candidates. Under section 33 of the RWPD Act, for Physically Challenged people, vacancies have been reserved.

Candidates with Hearing disability, Vision disability, and Orthopedically handicapped are eligible to apply for the exam.

Orthopedically Handicapped (OH)	Candidates with cerebral palsy with 40% impairment or locomotor disability are eligible for applying. All of these candidates can apply: 1.       OAL- One arm & One Leg affected 2.       BL- Both legs affected but not arms 3.       OA – One arm affected either left or right 4.       OL – One leg affected either left or right
Visually Impaired (VI)	Candidates falling under any of these categories fulfill the eligibility criteria for SBI PO Exam Limiting the field of vision by subtending an angle of 20 degrees. Visual acuity not exceeding 6/60 or 20/200 (Snellen) A total absence of sight
Hearing Impaired (HI)	Candidates with non-functional hearing senses fall under this category. People who have lost sense of hearing in one or both ears, or can’t hear sounds at all even with amplified speech fulfill the eligibility criteria.

SBI PO Eligibility Criteria – Scribe Services

Scribe services are available to those PWD candidates who are 40% physically disabled or more than that. Additional time is offered to such candidates to complete the paper. This service is available to only those candidates who have a disability in writing.

The following conditions are applicable when the scribe service is availed:

• At the time of filling the SBI PO Application form, the requirement of a scribe service must be enclosed.
• Candidates have to arrange the scribe at their own expense.
• At the time of the Online examination, an undertaking must be submitted.
• PWD candidates will be availed with an additional time of 20min/hour of the exam.
