Sainik School Entrance Exam 2022-23: The National Testing Agency will be conducting the AISSEE 2022 for admission to Class VI and Class IX in 33 Sainik Schools across the country, for the academic year 2022-23. The All India Sainik School Entrance Examination (AISSEE) is a national level school admission test on the basis of which Sainik Schools offer admission to classes 6 and 9.

Sainik School Eligibility [Class 6 and Class 9] 

Age Limit

  • Class 6 – 10 to 12 years (01 April 2009 to 31 March 2011) (Note: Age limit is same for Girls Applicants.)
  • Class 9 – 13 to 15 years (01 April 2006 to 31 March 2008) (Note: Girls are not applicable for Class IX) As of 31 March 2021

Educational Qualification 

  • For 6th Class: Minimum Required Qualification is 05th Class and appearing students can also apply (Finally Passed).
  • For 9th Class: Applicants should have passed the 08th Standard from an authorized school/board and appearing students can apply but finally students should have passed the VIII class.

Online AISSEE Application Process 22-23

You can find the AISSEE 2022 admission form along with the prospectus issued online. Students can register for Sainik school admission 2022 on aissee.nta.nic.in. The submission of the application form is completely online.

Students have to complete the following steps – 

Step 1: 

  • Go to the main website and click on the “Application” link available on the online application window home page.
  • A new page with a set of instructions about the fee, documents required will appear on the screen. Read the instructions carefully and click on the “Proceed” tab.
  • A new Sainik School admission 2022 form will appear on your screen with your personal information, Medium of Exam, School Applied For, Choice of Exam Centers, Father’s and Mother’s details, and permanent address.
  • Now, fill the form carefully and click on “Save” to generate the User ID and Password and save the same.

Step 2:

  • In the next step, students have to upload a scanned copy of the passport-sized photograph and signature of candidates in the given size and format.
  • The size of the photograph and signature image should be less than 1 MB.
  • Both the scanned copies should be in .jpg format.

Step 3: 

  • Now, students have to pay the online application fee
  • Students have to pay the application fee of Rs. 550/- (Rs. 400 for SC/ST) in online mode.
  • Students can pay the fee through Credit Card/ Debit Card/ Net Banking/UPI.

Step 4:

  • In this step, candidates should upload the scanned copies of the Birth Certificate, Domicile Certificate, and Caste certificate.
  • All the scanned copies should be in .jpg, .png, .pdf format.
  • The size of each scanned copy should be less than 2 MB.
  • Candidates belonging to the General and Defence Background category need not upload the Caste certificate.

Step 5:

  • A confirmation page will be generated after completing the above steps.
  • Candidates should download the confirmation page for future reference after checking all the correct details in the form.

Step 6: 

  • Submit the Sainik School Admission 2022 Form by clicking on “Submit”.

Students can apply for Sainik School Admission online from https://aissee.nta.nic.in/. The selection process for the Sainik School is simple. First, there is a written examination. Candidates who will qualify for the written exam will be called for the medical test.

NTA AISSEE Exam Pattern 2022-23

A merit list will be released after the completion of the AISSEE 2022 examination and admission will be provided to the suitable candidates. To score good marks, it is important to follow the exam pattern. The Exam Pattern of AISSEE 2022 is as follows:

Sainik School Entrance Exam Pattern For Class 6:

  • The examination is done in 3 steps i.e. written test, physical efficiency test/ medical test, and interview.
  • The AISSEE written examination is 300 marks.
  • The examination will be held offline.
  • The questions of the examination will be available in two languages i.e. English & Hindi.
  • There are 4 sections/subjects of the entrance examination which are Mathematics, General knowledge, Language, and Intelligence.
  • The questions of the examination will be OMR based which is an objective type.
  • There will be a total of 125 questions in the question paper.

Sainik School Entrance Exam Pattern For Class 9:

  • The AISSEE written examination for class IX is 400 marks.
  • The examination will be held offline.
  • Question Papers for Class IX are set in English only and students are required to answer the question in English only. 
  • There are 5 sections/subjects of the entrance examination which are Mathematics, English, Intelligence, General Science, and Social Studies. 
  • There will be a total of 150 questions in the question paper.

Sainik School Entrance Examination Admit Card 2022-23

Sainik School Entrance Examination Cut-Off 2021
