Mensuration is a branch of science that deals with the measurement of solid and liquid substances with accuracy. These are also known as Measurements and Calculations. It is one of the most common branches of Mathematics, especially in the field of engineering. Mensuration is defined as the study of the measurement of length, weight, and capacity of substances. The subject was originally used to determine the measurement of precious and semi-precious stones.

Mensuration is defined as the study and measurement of the dimensions and weight of the body. A mensuration instrument is defined as an instrument that is used to measure the weight of a substance and to perform the calculation of the area, volume, and weight of the different substances. The mensuration instrument is the most important part of the measuring instruments. Mensuration has become an essential field of study in the modern world and is now included as an important subject in the school curriculum. As a discipline, it is concerned with measurement.

Mensuration deals with the measuring or determination of the size, shape, thickness, area, and volume of a substance. The volume of the substances is defined as the weight of the substance measured after it has been removed from its natural place.

Using Mensuration Exercise 20

In this exercise students will solve questions based on finding the area and perimeter of different figures such as a square or a rectangle. 

Measuring and menstruation has been a subject for scientists and scholars for a long period of time. To carry out this study, they have used a variety of measuring instruments. For a long period of time, they have used different types of measuring instruments. The following paragraphs contain brief descriptions of different types of measuring instruments:

Tubes.

Tubes are used for storing and transporting a particular substance. A cylinder may be a tube. A cylindrical tube is a tube that is shaped in a circular form. Cylinders may be conical tubes, or have a square or hexagonal cross-section. To measure the volume of a cylinder, first, the circumference of the cylinder is marked and then the volume is computed. For example, if the length, height, and radius of a cylinder is 16, 12, and 10 respectively, then the volume of the cylinder is calculated using the formula of:

V = πr2h.

A ruler.

A ruler is an instrument used to measure the length, width, and thickness of a certain substance. If a ruler is used to measure the length, width, and thickness of a substance, it is called a linear ruler. If the ruler is a cylindrical ruler, it is called a cylindrical ruler. These can be purchased from any high-class pharmacy or material store. The linear ruler can be of the following types:
