RRB JE Syllabus: Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) will be conducting the RRB JE Exam. The exam is conducted to select candidates for the posts of Junior Engineer (JE), Junior Engineer IT (JE IT), Depot Material Superintendent (DMS), and Chemical and Metallurgical Assistant (CMA) in Indian Railways.

You should know that the syllabus and RRB JE Exam Pattern prepare you for the exam correctly. The Computer Based Test of RRB JE is conducted in stages and will consist of multiple-choice questions.
RRB JE CBT 1st stage will have 100 questions and 150 questions will be asked in 2nd stage CBT. There is a negative marking of 1/3 marks for each wrong answer in both stages of CBT.

RRB JE Syllabus | Exam Pattern 2023
It is very important to check exam patterns after reviewing RRB JE Syllabus. There will be two stages Computer Based Test (CBT) followed by Document verification. Shortlisting of candidates for 2nd Stage CBT shall be done at the rate of 15 times (may increase or decrease as per the requirement of Railway Administration).
The shortlisting of 2nd Stage CBT will be based on the merit of the candidates in 1st Stage CBT. There shall be negative markings for incorrect answers in CBTs. 1/3rd of the marks allotted for each question shall be deducted for each wrong answer.
Question papers shall be of Objective Multiple Choice Type.
The questions paper will be in English and other languages such as Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Konkani, Malayalam, Manipuri, Marathi, Odiya, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu and Urdu.
The RRB JE Exam Pattern consists of the following 4 stages:
