RRB JE Medical Standard 2023 | 4th Stage of Selection Process

RRB JE Medical Standard 2023: The Railway Recruitment Board is one of the prestigious governments which recruits a huge number of candidates for various departments in Railways. As the RRB JE 2023 exam is about to begin, it is necessary that candidates must be aware of the RRB JE Selection Process. If you are aware of the selection process in advance, then you can prepare well for the examination.

Basic Introduction of RRB JE 2023

As there is a huge number of vacancies in the Railway department, these vacancies will be filled through a 4-step selection process, which includes

• 2 CBT,
• Document Verification, and
• Medical Examination.

RRB JE Medical Standard 2023

After clearing all three stages in the selection process, you will have to go through another round i.e., medical fitness standard round or RRB JE Medical Standard Exam 2023.

In order to get the appointment letter from the Chief Personnel Officer of the Zonal Railways, one needs to pass through a Medical Examination.

Following is the categorization of the fitness standards

A-3: Physically fit in all respects.

Visual Standards-Distance Vision: 6/9, 6/9 with or without glasses (power of lenses not to exceed 2D). Near Vision: Sn: 0.6, 0.6 with or without glasses and must pass the test for Colour Vision, Binocular Vision, Field of Vision & Night Vision.

B-1: Physically fit in all respects.

Visual Standards-Distance Vision: 6/9, 6/12 with or without glasses (power of lenses not to exceed 4D). Near Vision: Sn.0.6, 0.6 with or without glasses when reading or close work is required and must pass the test for Colour Vision, Binocular Vision, Field of Vision & Night Vision.

B-2: Physically fit in all respects.

Visual standards-Distance Vision: 6/9, 6/12 with or without glasses (power not to exceed 4D). Near Vision: Sn: 0.6, 0.6 with or without glasses when reading or close work is required and must pass the test for Field of Vision.

C-1: Physically fit in all respects.

Visual Standards-Distance Vision: 6/12, 6/18 with or without glasses. Near Vision: Sn: 0.6, 0.6 with or without glasses when reading or close work is required.
