RBI Seniority Levels

There will be different Job Profiles for all officers in the RBI. Now first look over at the Grade B Officer.  

1. The Grade B level officers may be required to supervise a section and initiate office notes.  
2. At the Grade C level, the officers would become the head of a department. Also at this level, the officers will be required to officiate as the in-charge when the Grade D officer is away. In the central office, there is a move to reduce levels, then you could still be the originator of the policy notes.  
3. The Grade D level officers will be considered a senior officer and Bank’s car will come for you when you visit another center on official tours. You will have the power to approve or reject the proposals. Also in some offices, you would head several departments.  
4. In Grade E you will become a General Manager. 
5. At Grade F level you will become head of an office or a central office department will attendant responsibilities.  

RBI Officer Career Growth  

The career opportunities in RBI start from the lowest level to the highest level.  

1. At the lowest level, there are RBI Assistants. They are assisting the staff who are responsible for all the office work that takes place at RBI.  
2. The RBI Assistants have a chance to join as Grade B officers.  
3. The Grade B officers will have a chance to become manager, senior manager, Grade D officers, Grade F officers. They also have opportunities to become a board of directors in standardized commercial banks. The RBI Grade B officers will have a chance to reach till Deputy Governor. 
4. The Grade C officer are working at the levels of Banking Examiner, Analyst, account specialist, IT examiner, project administrator, network administrator, web designer, system administrator, behavioral scientist, a legal specialist  
5. The Grade D officer is working as chief activists. The main roles and responsibilities are to working at the higher levels and check the working of the system.
