OICL AO Eligibility Criteria 2021: Every year, it invites suitable applicants to apply online for positions as OICL AO in several subjects (Assistant Officer Scale 1). Engineers (Automobile)

Candidates must have a postgraduate or graduate degree in engineering (4 or 5 years) with car engineering as a specialisation and a minimum of 60% overall (55 percent for SC/ST) from a reputable university.

Legal

Candidates must have a graduate degree in law from a reputable university with a 60 percent aggregate (55 percent for SC/ST).

Candidates must have a graduate degree in any field with a minimum of 60% aggregate (66 percent for SC/ ST).

Note:

1: The qualifications listed above must be from a recognised Indian university that has been authorised by the UGC or any reputable institute that has been approved by the AICTE.

2: Candidates with post-qualification experience in the relevant sector are given preference. In this case, the firm is the sole decision-maker.

3: During the interview/document verification or following stage of the selection, candidates must present a relevant mark sheet/education certificate issued by the university.

4: On the mark sheet, the percentage of the candidates’ marks is printed in decimals. For example, if the percentage is 59.99 percent, it will be regarded as less than 60%.

OICL AO Eligibility Criteria: Age Limit 

Candidates must be at least 21 years old and no older than 30 years old to be considered for the Oriental Insurance Company AO recruitment. On the first day of the month, when the recruitment process begins, the candidates’ ages must meet the requirements.

Note

1: Any applicant who is eligible for more than one relaxation in any of the above-mentioned categories shall have their relaxations applied cumulatively, and their original age must not exceed 45 years.

2: Candidates seeking upper age relaxation must present appropriate and original documentation during verification or at a later stage of the selection process.

3: If a person with a disability is entitled to an age reduction because he or she is already employed by a Public Sector General Insurance Company, the relaxation can be claimed as either “A Person with Disability” or “An existing Employee of the Public Sector General Insurance Company,” whichever is more advantageous.

4:Ex-servicemen in the officer’s cadre are not eligible for any reservations.

OICL AO Eligibility Criteria: Guidelines for Persons with Disabilities Using a Scribe 

During the online examination, visually impaired candidates and applicants whose writing speed is permanently impacted for whatever reason are allowed to utilise their own scribe at their own expense. In all circumstances when a scribe is employed, the following guidelines will be followed:

  • The candidate must hire a scribe at his or her own expense.
  • The scribe should be from a different academic field than the one specified for the position. A post scribe who works as a generalist can come from any academic discipline.
  • Both the candidate and the scribe will be required to sign an agreement stating that the scribe meets all of the required qualifications.

Furthermore, if it is later discovered that he or she did not meet any of the stipulated eligibility criteria or omitted material facts, the applicant’s candidature would be promptly dismissed.

  • Candidates who utilise a scribe are eligible for a 20-minute compensatory period.
  • The scribe chosen by the candidate should not be a competitor in the exam.If any of the foregoing is violated at any point throughout the selection process, both the candidate’s and the scribe’s CWE eligibility will be revoked.
  • Candidates who are eligible for and wish to utilise the services of a scribe in the test should be aware that they must specify this while registering online. Any additional requests will be turned down.
  • Only candidates who have registered for compensatory time will be granted such benefits; compensatory time granted to candidates will be system-based; the test administering agency will not be able to grant such time if the candidate has not registered for it.
  • Such concessions will not be granted to candidates who have not applied for compensatory time.

(I) Requirements for individuals with cerebral palsy and locomotor disability Candidates with locomotor disability and cerebral palsy whose dominant (writing) extremity is affected to the point of slowing function performance are eligible for compensatory time of twenty minutes per hour unless otherwise advised (minimum of 40 percent impairment).

(ii)Guidelines for Visually Impaired Candidates (with a disability of at least 40%) can view the contents of the test in enlarged font and will be eligible for a compensatory time of 20 minutes or as otherwise directed for each hour of examination.
