NIACL Assistant Selection Process | Prelims, Mains, and Interview

NIACL Assistant Selection Process – Exam Pattern

To get recruited for the post of Cadre III Assistant, a candidate must clear all the 3 stages of the NIACL Assistant Selection Process.

Stage 1 – Prelims

• The first phase of the selection process.
• The paper will be in both Hindi & English language, except the English language section.
• There will be sectional cut-offs, so the candidate has to clear every section.

Stage 2 – Mains

• The second phase of the NIACL Assistant Selection Process.

Stage 3 – Regional language Test

• Candidates should be proficient in their State/UT Regional language.
• Should know how to read, write and speak in their regional language.

Before the final selection, a regional test is conducted. Candidates need to clear the exam.

NIACL Assistant Selection Process – Eligibility Criteria

• Age limit

1. Minimum age – 21 years.
2. Maximum age – 30 years.
3. Only those can apply who are born not earlier than July 1^st 1989 and not later than June 30^th 1998, both days are included.
4. There is an upper age limit for certain categories, which is mentioned in the table:

Existing employees of the NIACL Co. Ltd.	5 years

• Nationality

A candidate applying for the NIACL Assistant recruitment 2021 must fulfil either of these conditions:

1. He/she must be an Indian citizen.
2. He/she must be a subject of Nepal.
3. He/she must be a subject of Bhutan.
4. The candidate must be a Tibetan refugee before Jan 1^st 1962, with the intention of permanently settling in India.
5. Must be of Indian origin, migrated from Sri Lanka, Kenya, Burma, Pakistan, Uganda, the countries of East Africa and The United Republic of Tanzania, Zaire, Ethiopia, Malawi, Zambia and Vietnam. He/ she must have an intention of permanently settling in India.

Candidates falling under the categories (2), (3), (4) & (5), must have a certificate of eligibility, issued by the Government of India. 

• Educational qualification

Minimum degree

·         Graduate in any field from a recognized university. ·         Or an equivalent degree recognized by the Central Government. ·         English as one of the subjects in SSC/HS/Intermediate/Graduation level. A certificate of qualifying for the exam is necessary.
