NIACL Assistant Eligibility Criteria

• Age limit

1. Minimum age – 21 years.
2. Maximum age – 30 years.
3. Only those can apply who are born not earlier than July 1^st, 1989 and not later than June 30^th, 1998, both days are included.
4. There is an upper age limit for certain categories, which is mentioned in the table:

Divorced women, widows, and women separated for 5 years from their spouse and never got remarried	5 years
People domiciled in the Kashmir division of the 6th State of J & K, during the time 1-1-80 to 31- 5 years 12-89.	5 years
Existing employees of the NIACL Co. Ltd.	5 years

• Nationality

A candidate applying for the NIACL Assistant recruitment 2021 must fulfill either of these conditions:

1. He/she must be an Indian citizen.
2. He/she must be a subject of Nepal.
3. He/she must be a subject of Bhutan.
4. The candidate must be a Tibetan refugee before Jan 1^st, 1962, to permanently settle in India.
5. Must be of Indian origin, migrated from Sri Lanka, Kenya, Burma, Pakistan, Uganda, the countries of East Africa and The United Republic of Tanzania, Zaire, Ethiopia, Malawi, Zambia, and Vietnam. He/ she must have an intention of permanently settling in India.

Candidates falling under the categories (2), (3), (4) & (5), must have a certificate of eligibility, issued by the Government of India. 

• Educational qualification

Minimum degree	·         Graduate in any field from a recognized university. ·         Or an equivalent degree recognized by the Central Government. ·         English as one of the subjects in SSC/HS/Intermediate/Graduation level. A certificate of qualifying for the exam is necessary.
Regional language	·         Candidates should be proficient in their State/UT Regional language. ·         Should know how to read, write and speak in their regional language. ·         Before the final selection, a regional test is conducted. Candidates need to clear the exam.
