NDA application form 2024 can be filled in two parts: Part I and II. The step-by-step guide for filling both parts of the NDA application form is explained below:
NDA Application Form 2024: Part I
Part I registration is divided into four pages:
- candidate’s registration,
- choosing the preferred branch,
- verifying details and generation of registration ID.

Part 1 of the registration is split into four sections.
Page 1: Applicant’s Details
1. Applicants must fill out the NDA Exam Application Form 2023 with their name as it appears on their matriculation/secondary examination certificate. Don’t use prefixes like Mr. or Ms.
2. From the dropdown menu, choose a gender to be male or female.
3. You should enter the date of birth, as officially registered on the matriculation/secondary examination certificate, in the DD/MM/YYYYY format.
4. Do not make use of any prefix such as Shri or Dr., etc. in your parent’s name.
5. From the drop-down menu, choose your nationality.
6. NDA Exam Application Form 2023 is only available to unmarried male candidates.
7. From the drop-down menu, choose SC/ST/OBC/General.
8. Candidates have to choose their educational credentials, whether they have completed Class 12/HSC or are already appearing for it.
9. Enter your contact information like phone number, e-mail address, etc.
Page 2: Selecting Branch Priority
1. You have to choose your priorities for the Indian Army, Air Force, and Navy.
2. You must rank your choices on a scale of 1 to 4.
3. Applicants who do not wish to give their preferences should label ‘0′.
4. Applicants from Sainik/Military School, as well as sons of JCO/NCO/Other Rank Officers, must fill out the form.
5. To proceed to the next page of the NDA Exam Application Form 2023, click ‘Continue.’
Page 3: Verify the details
1. You must check the information entered on the NDA 2023 application form in this section.
2. There will be no modifications in the application form after the final submission.
3. Select I agree/I do not agree.
Page 4: Registration ID Generation
1. Applicants will be able to see their registration ID and other information such as their gender, father’s name, DOB, email address, and so on.
2. The candidate’s registered email address will receive an email with registration information.
3. To pay the application fees offline, applicants must print their pay-in-slip in this section.
4. Print the NDA Exam Application Form by clicking on the ‘Print Application Part-I’ tab.
5. Upload an image and signature, and consent to the declaration, go to Part II registration.
NDA Application Form 2023: Part II
In part II, you have to pay the application fees, select the exam center, and upload scanned images of photographs and signatures.
The steps to fill the Part II of NDA application form are given below:
Fee Payment
- You can the fee through cash/credit card/debit card or net banking
- If you want to opt for ‘Pay by Cash’ mode then you have to take the printout of the system-generated Pay-in-slip during the Part-II registration. They are required to deposit the fee at the counter of SBI on the next working day
- You should note that the fees once paid are not refunded
Selection of exam center
- You should select the NDA exam centre as per their suitability
- You can choose only three exam centres
- Allotment of center will be on the first-apply-first-allot basis
Uploading of photograph and signature
- You have to upload the scanned images of the photograph, signature, and photo identity card
- The file should not exceed 300 kb and must be less than 20 kb
