Deloitte is currently seeking an experienced SAP Commodities – Senior Consultant for their offices in Bangalore, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Pune, Chennai, and Kolkata. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, strategizing, and implementing comprehensive SAP Commodity Management solutions, which encompass transaction capture, risk management, logistics, and accounting.
Job Description
The following are the main responsibilities for the position:
- Leading and overseeing teams responsible for delivering SAP Commodity Management transformation services to Fortune 500 corporations.
- Offering advisory services in SAP Commodity Management, both in terms of business and technology, to our clients.
- Playing a crucial role in client communication, fostering relationships, and maintaining client retention.
- Ensuring that products and deliverables align with the specifications and deadlines outlined in contracts and work plans.
- Developing tools, methodologies, and assets to enhance project delivery.
- Actively participating in sales, proposal development, and the formulation of new business strategies to expand our service offerings and drive business growth.
- Providing guidance and mentorship to junior professionals within the organization.
Qualifications for this Job
The qualifications and skills required for this role are as follows:
- A bachelor’s degree in business, information technology, or a related field is required. An MBA, MS, and/or MA are preferred.
- Prior experience with SAP Commodity Management solution is necessary.
- Hands-on experience in configuring exposure management, DCS-based market data management, and integrating logistics with TRM is required.
- Proficiency in accounting and settlement for commodities is essential.
- A good understanding and working knowledge of the commodity trading lifecycle is expected. Experience in agriculture or other commodity industries is considered a plus.
- Practical experience with SAP Commodity Management CPE/CPF functionality in SAP S4/HANA or ECC is a must.
- Experience in setting up third-party interfaces for external feeds required for CPE formulas is necessary.
- Knowledge of MS Project or similar tools is required, along with proficiency in Microsoft tools such as PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Visio, and Access.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are necessary for report writing and client presentations.
- Effective leadership, project management, and teamwork skills are vital.
- Flexibility in learning new topics, adapting to change, and meeting deadlines is important.
- The ability to travel is required for this position.

- Previous experience in delivering internal training sessions.
- Experience in preparing and delivering demos to clients is advantageous.

- Has a minimum of two implementation experiences with SAP ACM and/or SAP CM.
- Demonstrates good knowledge of the Commodity Pricing Engine (CPE) and Configurable Parameters and Formulas (CPF) within SAP.
- Exhibits good industry knowledge in Agriculture and/or IS-Oil industries.
- Has experience in leading a team.
- Some experience with client interactions is beneficial.
- Has experience in collaborating with diverse teams, working together, and designing solutions.
