IBPS CWE Clerk V: Cut off Score

The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) had conducted the Main exam for short listing candidates interested to work in the clerical cadre through the Common Recruitment Process (CWE Clerks-V). The results for the exam, conducted on January 3 and 4 are awaited.

The marks obtained in the main exam will be considered as a parameter for short listing for the interview round and also for final merit listing.

Each candidate will have to obtain a minimum score in each test and also a minimum total score, to be shortlisted for interview.  Depending on the number of the State/UT wise vacancies available, cut-offs will be decided.

Calculation of marks:

Scores:

  • The corrected scores obtained by each of the candidates in different sessions (if held) will be normalized using equi-percentile method
  • Scores up to 2 decimal points shall be taken for the purpose of calculations

Cut off score:

  • Mean – 3/4th of Standard Deviation for SC/ ST/ OBC/ PWD/EXS categories
  • Mean – 1/4th of Standard Deviation for General Category

There will be a second level cut-off point on total as per requirement.

The centre, address of the venue, time and date of interview will be informed to the shortlisted candidates in the call letter.
