Google is currently seeking an experienced Technology Solutions Consultant, specializing in Google Cloud Security, to join their team in Hyderabad. As a part of this role, you will be responsible for ensuring a satisfactory customer experience and engagement. This entails assisting customers in strategizing the implementation of Mandiant Advantage, overseeing the platform’s deployment, identifying initial successes, and promoting the practical utilization of the solution.
Job Description
The following are the main tasks and responsibilities for the position:
- Provide consultation and guidance to customers regarding the deployment, configuration, and adoption of Mandiant Advantage, enabling them to enhance their capability to detect, block, alert, and respond to cyber security threats.
- Collaborate closely with the engineering teams of Mandiant Advantage to provide valuable input on suggested features and identify opportunities for enhancing the products.
- Take on the role of a technical security advisor, assisting customers in resolving any technical challenges they may encounter.
Qualifications for this Job
The following are the requirements and qualifications for the position:
- Possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field that provides equivalent practical experience.
- Have a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in various security domains such as security engineering, security operations, vulnerability management, incident management, security assessments, or security assurance/compliance.
- Proficient in working with SIEM (Security Information and Event Management), identity/access management, network security, system administration, data protection, security log analysis, and penetration testing.
- Demonstrate the flexibility to travel up to 20% of the time as per business requirements.
The Ideal Candidate should also have
- Possesses a Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a closely related technical field.
- Holds a certification such as Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Project Management Professional (PMP), or Certified Internal Auditor, or has relevant experience in these domains.
- Proficient in working with industry compliance and security standards and frameworks, including Mitre ATT&CK, PCI DSS, ISO 27001, SOC 1, and 2.
- Experienced in automating IT processes through scripting and coding.
