As per the GATE 2023 notification, the eligibility criteria for GATE XH 2023 were relaxed. Hence, you may expect the GATE XH Eligibility criteria to remain the same for the GATE 2023 exam as well.

The conducting body, i.e. IIT Kharagpur has also released the GATE XH 2023 exam pattern for the GATE 2023 exam. The previous year, the authorities included the Multiple Select Questions (MSQs) and/or Numerical Answer Type Questions in the GATE exam pattern.

The GATE exam pattern 2023 reflects that there will be a common section of General aptitude carrying 15 marks and the rest of subject-specific main paper carrying questions of 85 marks. The exam shall be conducted in online mode for a duration of 3 hours (180 minutes).

GATE counseling 2023 will be conducted through two different platforms – CCMT (Centralized Counselling for M.Tech) and COAP (Common Offer Acceptance Portal). Candidates are required to choose the platform for GATE counseling 2023 based on the institute they wish to get admission in.
