GATE Humanities and Social Sciences Exam 2023

IIT Kharagpur (IIT KGP) is the conducting authority for GATE 2023. The official website of IIT Kharagpur is www.iitkgp.ac.in. Every year out of the following IITs, the GATE exam is conducted by one of them; IIT Delhi, IIT Madras, IIT Guwahati, IIT Roorkee, IISc Bangalore, IIT Kanpur, IIT Kharagpur, & IIT Bombay. The GATE 2021 exam was organized by IIT Bombay, while GATE 2023 was organized by IIT Delhi.

GATE Humanities and Social Sciences Eligibility Criteria 2022

As per the GATE 2023 notification, the eligibility criteria for GATE XH 2023 were relaxed. Hence, you may expect the GATE XH Eligibility criteria to remain the same for the GATE 2023 exam as well.

How to download GATE XH Admit Card 2023?

• Step-1: Visit the official site and click on the “GATE 2022 Admit Card” link.
• Step-2: A new web page will seem applicants need to input their Enrollment ID and Password to log in.
• Step-3: GATE admits card 2022 may be displayed on the screen after logging in.
• Step-4: Check all of the information noted on the admit card carefully.

GATE Humanities and Social Sciences Syllabus 2023

The conducting body, i.e. IIT Kharagpur has also released the GATE XH 2023 exam pattern for the GATE 2023 exam. The previous year, the authorities included the Multiple Select Questions (MSQs) and/or Numerical Answer Type Questions in the GATE exam pattern.

The GATE exam pattern 2023 reflects that there will be a common section of General aptitude carrying 15 marks and the rest of subject-specific main paper carrying questions of 85 marks. The exam shall be conducted in online mode for a duration of 3 hours (180 minutes).

GATE Humanities and Social Sciences Counselling 2023

GATE counseling 2023 will be conducted through two different platforms – CCMT (Centralized Counselling for M.Tech) and COAP (Common Offer Acceptance Portal). Candidates are required to choose the platform for GATE counseling 2023 based on the institute they wish to get admission in.

Admissions to IISc Bangalore and all the IITs are done by registering at the COAP. On the other hand, admission to all the NITs, IIEST Shibpur, and some IIITs and GFTIs is done through CCMT.
