Important Notes:
- It is required for candidates, who have qualified for any required examination in 2018 or before this year, to submit a certificate after the completion of the program/degree certificate/membership certificate/professional certificate and provisional certificate issued by the society or institute last attended.
- For candidates who have passed the degree program in 2022 or after this year, need to submit a certificate issued by principals or scorecard for section A of AMIE.

Documents Required For GATE Eligibility Criteria 2022
All the aspirants applying for GATE 2022, must upload certain documents to support the eligibility criteria of GATE 2022. While filling the GATE Application form, you must attach the eligbility criteria certificate.
Some points regarding the eligibility documents are mentioned below:
- If you have completed the mentioned qualifying examinations in 2022 or earlier, you have to submit the degree certificate/provisional degree certificate/course completion certificate/membership certificate as issued by the designated authorities.
- If you are expected to complete the qualifying criteria in 2022 or later, then you have to upload your Provisional Certificate Letter (as issued by the Head of the Institute/Dean/Registrar/Head of Department) or a copy of the marks card for Section A of AMIE, etc.
- If you are from PwD category, then you must attach your PwD certificate issued by a recognized authority. If you have at least 40% impairment irrespective of the kind of disability, you will be provided concession in the application fee. You will also have to submit the certificate at the allotted institute at the time of admission.
- If you have backlogs (failed subjects) in any of the subjects in your qualifying examination, you will have to upload a copy of any of the marksheet of the final year issued from the institute where you are pursuing your qualifying examination. Internet downloaded marksheet will not be accepted under any circumstances.
- If you are from SC/ST category, you will have to upload a valid document proof to avail a concession in the application fee. Certificates issued by authorized officials will only be considered.

Dyslexic candidates will be required to submit a certificate stating the same issued by authorities in order to get the services of a scribe
