- Educational Qualification: Candidates who have obtained/are pursuing their qualifying degree from outside India Must be currently in the 3rd year or higher years or completed their Bachelor’s degree in their field of Electronics and Communication Engineering or relevent field.

- NO change can be made in the application form after the payment of the fee. So, make sure that all the details are correct. If everything is as per the guidelines, only then the application form will be accepted or else rejected.
- Draw a rectangular box of size 2 cm × 7 cm (Height × Width) on an A4 sized white paper and sign with black/dark blue ink pen within this box. The signature should occupy 70~80% of the box size. File size: 10 kB (minimum) – 200 kB (maximum).
- Colored passport size photo of dimension: 3.5 cm Width × 4.5 cm Height with white background is required for the GATE Application Form.
- The candidate will be intimidated about any errors found in the GATE application, which has to be rectified within the given period of time. This will be done via e-mail and/or SMS.
- The PwD/ Dyslexic candidates are allowed to avail scribe assistant EC for the GATE 2022 examination.

GATE Electronics and Communication Engineering Syllabus 2022
GATE Electronics and Communication Engineering Syllabus 2022 will have questions in three different sections, Engineering Mathematics, General Aptitude and Core ECE subjects. The weightage of the core subject syllabus in the exam is 72% while the weightage of Engineering Mathematics syllabus is 13% and 15% for General Aptitude.

GATE Electronics and Communication Engineering Counselling 2022
Candidates who qualify in the GATE ECE Exam can apply for IITs by applying to COAP for M.Tech admission. Candidates looking for admissions in NITs should apply for CCMT for NIT M.Tech admission.
