The Food Corporation of India (FCI) is a leading Public Sector Undertaking responsible for managing food and related activities in India. Established in 1964, the FCI has recently announced recruitment for the Assistant General Manager position in the engineering cadre. The post of AGM (CE) requires a candidate to possess a degree in Civil Engineering or its equivalent from a recognized university. In addition, the candidate should be holding an analogous post in the grade of E-3 or L-11 or have a minimum of 05 years of experience in the capacity of Assistant Engineer or equivalent in the IDA pay scale of Rs.40,000-1,40,000 (E-1) (the equivalent CDA Pay Level as per 7th CPC is L-08) or equivalent and above. There are a total of 26 posts available for this position.
AGM (EM):
To be eligible for the post of AGM (EM), a candidate must possess a degree in Electrical Engineering/Mechanical Engineering or its equivalent from a recognized university. The candidate should also be holding an analogous post in the grade of E-3 or L-11 or have a minimum of 05 years of experience in the capacity of Assistant Engineer in the IDA pay scale of Rs.40,000-1,40,000 (E-1) (the equivalent CDA Pay Level as per 7th CPC is L-08) or equivalent and above. There are a total of 20 posts available for this position.
Deputation Period for FCI Recruitment 2023:
As per FCI Recruitment 2023 official notification, the deputation period for this position will initially be for 3 years, extendable up to 5 years, on a yearly basis with the consent of both organizations. The job location for this position will be on an all-India basis.

How to Apply for FCI Recruitment 2023:
The application process for the post of Assistant General Manager (AGM) in the Food Corporation of India requires interested and eligible candidates to apply in the prescribed format.
The application should be forwarded through the proper channel along with necessary documents, including up-to-date and duly attested Annual Confidential Reports (ACRs) for the preceding five years, vigilance clearance indicating no pending or contemplated disciplinary or criminal proceedings, integrity certificate signed by an officer, not below the rank of Deputy Secretary to the Government of India, self-attested photocopies of documents for proof of age, qualification, experience, caste, etc.
