EPFO has released a recruitment notification for the posts of Social Security Assistant (SSA) and Stenographer and is inviting online applications. The official notification for EPFO Recruitment 2023 states that there are a total of 2674 vacancies for the post of Social Security Assistant and 185 vacancies for the post of Stenographer.
Interested candidates can apply for both posts, but must submit separate applications and examination fees for each one. The minimum educational qualification required for the post of Social Security Assistant is a bachelor’s degree from a recognized university, and the age limit for the post is 18-27 years. The pay scale for the post is level-5, which ranges from Rs. 29,200 to 92,300.
As for the post of Stenographer, candidates must have passed the 12th class from a recognized board and must be between 18-27 years of age. According to the official notification of EPFO Recruitment 2023, the pay scale for this post is level-4 in the pay matrix, ranging from Rs. 25,500 to 81,100.
Applicants for the Stenographer position must have a typing speed of 80 words per minute and a shorthand speed of 80 words per minute in either English or Hindi.
The selection process for both posts will be through a common examination held for recruitment, and the final merit list will be prepared region-wise. The EPFO website has detailed advertisements and application formats available for download.
The online application process for both posts will begin on March 27th, 2023, and the last date for online application submission is April 26th, 2023.
