The Defence Research Development Organization (DRDO) is seeking applications from deserving Indian citizens for the positions of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in Electronics and Communication Engineering and Research Associate (RA) in Aeronautical/Mechanical Engineering, Electronics, and Communication Engineering.
There are six openings for the position specified in the official DRDO Recruitment 2023 announcement. Both the RA and JRF positions have a two-year initial term that may be extended if necessary. The maximum age for a Research Associate (RA) is 35 years old, and the maximum age for a Junior Research Fellow (JRF) is 28 years old, per the official DRDO Recruitment 2023 notification.
Candidates will be chosen for the walk-in interview, per the official announcement of DRDO Recruitment 2023. Applicants selected for the Research Associate position will receive a compensation of Rs. 54000 per month, and candidates selected for the JRF position will receive a salary of Rs. 31,000 per month.
Before 18.04.2023, interested candidates may submit an online application through the DRDO’s official website. The screening test and interview will take place on May 9, 10, and 11 at the ADE, DRDO, Raman Gate, Suranjandas Road, New Thippasandra Post, Bengaluru, 560075.

Qualification for DRDO Recruitment 2023
The following qualifications are required for applicants for the positions of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) and Research Associate (RA).
Research Associate (RA)
- Aeronautical /Mechanical Engineering
Ph.D. in Aeronautical/Mechanical Engineering with specialization in structural design and analysis based on composite materials, airframe design optimization using innovative simulation approaches, and structural design automation.

M.E / M.Tech in the first Aeronautical/Mechanical Engineering division has three years of research, teaching, or design and development experience after M.E./M. Tech with at least one research paper in Science Citation Indexed Journal.
Desirable:
knowledge of structural design and analysis based on composite materials, aircraft design optimization through innovative simulation methodologies, and structural design automation.
- Electronics and Communication Engineering
Ph.D. in Electronics/Microwaves having expertise related to the design and testing of AESA antennas/low observable technologies.

M.E / M. Tech in the first division in any discipline related to Electronics, Communication, Microwaves and RF having three years of research, teaching, or design and development experience after M.E/M. Tech with at least one research paper in Science Citation Indexed Journal.
Desirable:
Knowledge in EM Design, Simulation, and modeling of FSS, Radar Absorbers, Radomes, and AESA Antennas.
Junior Research Fellow (JRF)
B.E / B.Tech in First Division with qualified and valid GATE score

M.E / M.Tech, with First Division both at Graduate and Post Graduate levels
Salary for DRDO Recruitment 2023
Applicants selected for the Research Associate position will receive a compensation of Rs. 54000 per month, and candidates selected for the JRF position will receive a salary of Rs. 31,000 per month.
Tenure period for DRDO Recruitment 2023
The tenure period for the RA post is 02 years and for the JRF post its 02 years and extendable as per the rules.
