Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) is hiring For the position of General Manager, the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) is employing qualified IRSEE officials and ex-IRSEE officers of the Indian Railways. For the aforementioned position, there is just one available position. Applicants for the following position on direct recruitment, deputation, or after-retirement contractual engagement basis should have relevant work experience in the electrical department, rolling stock maintenance and operations, and be comfortable working in a computerized setting.
The DMRC Recruitment 2023 official announcement states that the upper age restriction is 61 years. Probation will last for one year. Those that are chosen will receive a monthly salary of up to Rs. 280000.
In accordance with the official notification of DMRC Recruitment 2023, candidates should be selected on the basis of an Interview and Medical examination. Candidates who qualify for the personal interview will be called for the medical examination.

Age Limit for DMRC Recruitment 2023
The maximum age limit is listed below in accordance with the official DMRC Recruitment 2023 notification:
- The maximum age limit for Direct Recruitment Basis is 59 years.
- The maximum age limit for Deputation Basis is 55 years.
- The minimum age limit for PRCE Basis is 58 years and the maximum age limit is 61 years.
Eligibility Criteria for DMRC Recruitment 2023
As per the official notification of DMRC Recruitment 2023, the eligibility criteria for the mentioned post are below-
For Candidates Working in CDA Pay Scale-
- IRSEE/ Ex-IRSEE officers, presently working in/ /retired (for Post-Retirement Contractual Engagement basis only) from the CDA pay scale at Level 14 (Rs. 144200 – 218200) in the pay matrix as per the 7th CPC or higher; in any Govt. Organization/ CPSUs, including services put in on deputation, in the above pay scale with a total of 18 years service at Gazetted / Executive level in any government organization. Officers employed at Level 14 in Non-Functional Grades are also eligible to apply.
For Candidates Working in IDA Pay Scale-
- IRSEE/Ex-IRSEE officers who have completed 18 years of service at the Gazetted/Executive level in any government organization and are currently employed in (for Post-Retirement Contractual Engagement basis only) or retired from any government organization/CPSUs on the IDA pay scale of Rs. 1,20,000 – 2,80,000 or higher. Officers in the aforementioned pay bracket who hold Non-Functional Grades may also apply.
Salary for DMRC Recruitment 2023
Selected candidates will get a monthly salary as mentioned below-
For candidates selected on a Deputation basis-
- The selected candidate should continue to draw parent department pay plus deputation allowance, as applicable, under the Govt. of India rules.
For candidates selected on a Direct Recruitment basis-
- The pay and emoluments should be as per pay scales (Rs.120000-Rs.280000) under the IDA (Industrial DA) as applicable from time to time and other benefits which include Perks, Lease/HRA, Medical benefits, EPF, Gratuity and Insurance etc. as per the extant rules of the Corporation.
For candidates selected on a PRCE basis-
The selected candidate should be eligible for a consolidated fee of Rs. 155000 per month.
Tenure for DMRC Recruitment 2023
According to the official DMRC Recruiting 2023 announcement, the chosen applicant would be placed on probation after being hired for a period of one year, or until they reach the age of 60, whichever comes first.
Surety Bond for DMRC Recruitment 2023
The candidate chosen for the position would be required to sign a surety bond in the amount of Rs. 400000 and pay the cost of training in exchange for agreeing to work for the Corporation for a minimum of three years, according to the official DMRC Recruitment 2023 announcement.
Selection Process for DMRC Recruitment 2023
Candidates will be chosen on the basis of a personal interview and a medical fitness test, per the DMRC Recruitment 2023 official notification. The list of candidates who have been shortlisted will be posted on the DMRC website during the final week of April 2023, and an online interview will be placed during the first week of May 2023. By the second week of May 2023, the outcome will be known. (Tentatively).
