CTET Application Form 2023: The CTET 2023 Application Form will be released by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). Candidates have to use the online mode to fill up the online registration form.

Prerequisites for CTET Online Application Form 2023

There are certain prerequisites that a candidate must fulfill before filling out the application form for the CTET exam 2023. We have written below all the prerequisites required by the candidates. 

  • High-quality scanned image of the candidate’s recent photograph in jpg/jpeg format.
  • The prescribed dimension of the photograph should be 3.5 cm (width) x 4.5 cm (height) and the size of the file should be between 10 KBS and 100 KBS.
  • High-quality scanned image of the candidate’s signature in jpeg/jpg format.
  • The prescribed dimension of the signature should be 3.5 cm (width) x 1.5 cm (height) and the size of the file should be between 3 KBS and 30 KBS.
  • Candidates must have his/her Aadhar number, credit/debit card details (in case of online payment), academic qualification details, valid email ID, phone number, and mailing address.

How to fill out CTET Application Form 2023?

Candidates must log in to ctet.nic.in to fill CTET 2023 Application Form. Click on the link ‘Apply online’ and you will be redirected to an instruction page. Read all the basic instructions explaining the application procedure. After reading the instructions carefully, click on the link ‘Proceed to Apply Online’.

In order to properly register for the CTET exam, aspirants must complete the steps outlined below:

Step 1: Register for the CTET 2023 Exam

Candidates must go to the exam’s official website (ctet.nic.in) and click on the link for the application form to register. Then, under the New Candidate Registration header, candidates must click the Apply button. Candidates must thoroughly read and download the information leaflet before checking the box at the bottom.

Candidates must then click ‘Click Here to Proceed.’ The CTET registration form 2023 will appear on the screen after you click the button. Candidates must fill out the following information in the online form:

Candidates must validate the details given and click the checkboxes at the bottom of the page once all of the information in the registration form has been filled in. After that, click on the Final Submit button. Take note of the application number generated by the system and save it for future reference.

Step 2: Fill CTET Online Application Form

To continue filling out the application form, click the Complete CTET Application Form button and fill out the rest of the information on the online form. The information that candidates must provide in their CTET exam application form must be the same as that which they provided in their Class X board exam.

After you’ve filled in all of the information, click the Submit button and enter the security pin that appears on the screen. Check all of the information you’ve entered and then click the checkboxes at the bottom of the page. After that, press the Final Submit button.

Step 3: Upload CTET Documents

Aspirants must then send scanned photos of their most recent photograph and signature in JPG format, following the instructions below:

After the document has been uploaded, enter the security pin and check the box at the bottom of the page. After that, click the Upload button.

Step 4: Pay CTET Application Fee

Following that, candidates must pay the CTET application fees for 2023. Click the Pay Examination Fee button to do so. Select your payment method (online/real-time e-challan) and then click the Proceed button. Pay the prescribed fee using the method of payment you’ve chosen. It should be mentioned that candidates can pay the CTET application fee using an e-challan from Syndicate Bank/Canara Bank or a credit card, debit card, or net banking.

The CTET confirmation page will be generated once the fee has been successfully received, and the application process will be completed. Additionally, candidates should print the CTET 2023 confirmation page and save it for future reference, if necessary.

Retrieving CTET 2023 Registration Number

Candidates are given a unique registration number after completing the first stage of filling out the CTET 2023 Application Form. Candidates must use this registration number to log in to the payment portal.

  • In case one misplaces or loses this registration number after noting it down, they can retrieve the registration number by visiting the official site.
  • Click on ‘Forgot Registration Number?’.
  • After filling in essential details such as the candidate’s name, mother’s name, father’s name, and date of birth and selecting the category and papers applied (Paper I or Paper II or both), enter the security pin.
  • Candidates will then be able to retrieve his/her registration number.

Candidates have one chance to update wrong information on the CTET application form, according to CBSE (if any). Candidates can make changes to their application form after it has been filed by following the processes outlined below:

What to Do If CTET Confirmation Page Does Not Generate?

The CTET application fee can be paid online mode (through credit card, debit card, or net banking) or via e-challan (Syndicate/Canara Bank) by registered candidates. After the successful payment of the application fee, a confirmation page gets generated. The CTET confirmation page serves as verification of the application fee paid. Due to congestion on the Server, sometimes online transactions fail, and the resulting amount is deducted from the candidate’s account but not credited to the Board’s account. The Candidate must again pay the fee either through online mode or challans to get her/his confirmation page. The failed transaction amount will be refunded within 10-15 working days to the concerned bank account.

What is the confirmation page?

The confirmation page shows that your application form along with the fee has been received online by the Board. The confirmation Page shows all the particulars filled by the candidate during Online registration and according to the particulars filled and reflected in Confirmation Page, the candidate will get the Admit Card.
