ICSI CS Foundation 2023 | Eligibility Criteria
ICSI has provided specific norms of eligibility for candidates aspiring for the CS Foundation Exam in January 2023. Before applying for the exam, you should ensure that you have fulfilled the CS Eligibility Criteria for Foundation Program. You can check the eligibility criteria for the CS Foundation course below:
- You have to pass class XII or equivalent examination from a recognized board/university.
- ICSI has not provided any minimum percentage of marks to be secured at the Senior Secondary level to register for an examination.
- All Class 10+2 pass students are eligible to pursue the ICSI CS Foundation program.
Exemption from Appearing for CS Foundation Programme
If you have met the eligibility criteria as below, then you can directly register for the Executive Programme stage of the CS Course.
- If you have a Graduation or Post-graduation degree in any discipline (excluding fine arts) are exempted from appearing for the ICSI CS Exam.
- If you have passed in the
- Foundation examination of the ICSI,
- Foundation Programme of The Institute of Cost Accountants of India
- CA Foundation by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI)
- Any other accountancy Institution in India or abroad recognized as equivalent to it by the Council of the Institute is also exempted.

ICSI CS Foundation Exam Application Form 2023 | CS Foundation Registration 2023
ICSI released the Company Secretary registration form for Foundation Programme 2023 session. The amount of the Examination fee for CS Foundation 2023 is Rs. 1200 per module till the last date without a late fee. A late fee of Rs 250 adds up to the above-mentioned fee of Rs 1200.
Follow the steps given below to fill the CS Foundation Exam Form:
- Visit the official website of ICAI (http://www.icsi.edu/)
- Visit the Students tab and click on Student Registration
- Click the online services button on top of the ICSI website
- Tap on to the checklist of documents as applicable to you on the basis of your qualification,

Payment is to be made either by credit/debit card /net banking or through a bank challan system.
You will subsequently receive a username and password at your Email ID (The user name and password will be provided within 24 hours of payment.)
After you get your username and password, please upload documents at the link sent in your mail and upload documents.

1. Click on the online services button on top of the ICSI website (http://www.icsi.edu/)
2. Thereafter Click on the login button
3. Enter your Username and Password
4. After Login, Go to Students and then click “My Account”
5. Click on “Manage Account”

7. Once all required documents have been uploaded, now download and print the application acknowledgment for future reference.
