3. SSC JE Eligibility Criteria: Nationality
Applicants for the SSC JE should be citizens of one of the following regions. According to the SSC JE Notification, people are qualified to take the exam if they meet any of the nationality criteria given below:
- Whether you’re an Indian citizen or not,
- Bhutanese topic, or
- Nepalese subject, or
- A Tibetan refugee who arrived in India before January 1, 1962, with the intention of staying permanently in India, or
- A person of Indian descent who has migrated to India permanently from Burma, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Uganda, Kenya, the United Republic of Tanzania (Formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Malawi, Ethiopia, Zaire, Zambia, and Vietnam in East Africa.
