Five Careers with six-figure salaries that don’t require a degree  

Real Estate Broker/Agent: Real estate brokers and agents facilitate property transactions between buyers and sellers. While formal education is not always required, individuals must pass a licensing exam in their state. 

Air Traffic Controller: Air traffic controllers manage the flow of air traffic to ensure the safe and efficient movement of aircraft. While a college degree is not mandatory, candidates typically undergo extensive training through the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).  

Commercial Pilot: Commercial pilots fly aircraft for various purposes, such as transporting passengers, cargo, or conducting aerial surveys. While a college degree is not always required, pilots must obtain a commercial pilot's license and meet specific flight experience and training requirements set by aviation authorities. 

Web Developer/Programmer: Web developers and programmers design, create, and maintain websites and web applications. While formal education is beneficial, many successful web developers are self-taught or have completed coding boot camps or online courses.  

Sales Manager/Director: Sales managers and directors oversee sales teams and develop strategies to meet revenue targets. While a degree can be advantageous, many individuals in sales ascend to managerial roles based on their sales performance and leadership skills.
