6 Tips for Conquering Your Exam Nerve

Prepare thoroughly:  One of the best ways to combat exam nerves is to be well-prepared. Create a study plan and start reviewing material well in advance of the exam date.

Practice relaxation techniques:  Explore relaxation techniques such as deep breathing, progressive muscle relaxation, or mindfulness meditation to help calm your nerves.

Plan for Every Day of the Week -  Prepare the timetable for every day of the week. Plan your days in such a way that you reserve some time for regular breaks, too.

Visualize success: Visualize yourself performing well on the exam. Close your eyes and imagine yourself confidently answering questions, recalling information easily, and feeling calm and focused.

Stay Positive Stress gives rise to negativity, which, in turn, increases stress. It is a vicious circle that compounds stress and affects every aspect of life. It is, therefore, important to stay positive to counter stressful thoughts.

Arrive early and be prepared Give yourself plenty of time to get to the exam location so you can avoid feeling rushed or stressed. Arriving early allows you to find your seat, review any last-minute notes or reminders, and settle your nerves before the exam begins.

Focus on the present moment Instead of worrying about the outcome of the exam or dwelling on past mistakes, focus on the present moment. Pay attention to the instructions, read each question carefully, and take your time answering.
